We produce tropical products endemic to Costa Rica to be commercialized globally. Our goal is to highlight the benefits of Costa Rican products outside our borders.
OUR HISTORY
Agrícola Gros de Costa Rica, originates from the efforts of 2 families, dedicated for more than 25 years to the production and commercialization of papaya, bananas and tubers. United by the love of production in the field, gives the rise to this company, to offer our customers products with the best quality standards that characterize our country. We have three farms producing Papaya, Datil Banana and Tubers
Our products
Hybrid Papaya
Its softness and sweetness give it unique distinctions in the world. Pococí is an exclusive variety developed within the Costa Rican territory. Its orange pulp is very firm. Its properties improve the digestive process and it is diuretic due to its high percentage of water, around 90%.
Datil banana or baby banana
Popularly called baby, it is often preferred for its sweetness. This fruit is only half the size of a conventional banana and is ideal for snacks given its practicality at the time of consumption.
Cassava
Its characteristics make it easy to prepare and digest. It is a root with great nutritional benefits thanks to its high content of complex carbohydrates that are converted into energy. In our country a cassava is produced that facilitates its preparation due to a low cooking time, flavor and fluffiness.
Tubers
Great quality and variety produced in rich tropical soils. They are staples in the Costa Rican diet. Its characteristic nutritional value is concentrated in carbohydrates, such as dietary fiber and starch. Eddoes, Yam, Sweet potato, Chinese potato and taro, are examples of those produced in our country.
